In 1997 our founder, Dr. Martin Bohn, chose to use recognized ecologically sound farming methods in order to assume responsibility for man, animals and the environment. “Old-timer breeds” such as KellyBronze® turkeys, which are especially robust and resilient to disease as well as adverse environmental influences, enabled this new approach to turkey fattening.

Thanks to organic methods and the holistic concept, sustainable protection of resources is now possible. The benefits are obvious: Unadulterated flavour, tender and juicy meat. This adds up to improved taste.

The highest ecological standards at each stage of the production process are a mainstay of our business philosophy.
14 years of persistent adherence to this philosophy with strong partners in farming, a pronounced pursuit of quality, motivated employees and a strong network of Fair Trade partners have made Freiland Puten Fahrenzhausen GmbH so successful. We are now producing turkey and chickens in accordance with recognized organic farming guidelines on numerous farms of the Union of Organic Enterprises in both Germany and Austria. Our goal is to maintain the equilibrium between man, animals and the environment.
